1. Accepted Payment Methods
Valliora provides the customer with various payment methods, depending on the country and type of order, which are displayed during checkout.
a) Credit, Debit, and Prepaid Cards
Payments can be made with major bank cards, including:
-
Visa
-
Mastercard
-
American Express
-
Discover
b) Klarna – “Buy Now, Pay Later” (if available)
When the customer is eligible and this option is available in their country or for their order, they can use Klarna according to the terms offered at the time of payment (installment payment or other solutions offered by Klarna).
Availability:
Available payment methods may vary depending on the country, amount, currency, product ordered, security checks, and/or payment provider policies.
2. Payment Processing and Security
Payments are processed via external payment providers acting as technical intermediaries.
Valliora:
-
does not store full credit card data in readable form;
-
may receive certain limited information necessary for transaction identification (payment status, type of method used, provider confirmation, etc.);
-
applies reasonable security and fraud prevention measures.
The customer guarantees that they are authorized to use the chosen payment method and have the necessary funds.
3. Authorization, Refusal, and Anti-Fraud Checks
An order is considered validated when:
-
payment has been authorized by the relevant provider;
-
and the order has been accepted by the system.
Valliora reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, particularly in case of:
-
rejected or unauthorized payment;
-
technical incident related to the payment provider;
-
reasonable suspicion of fraud, unauthorized use of the payment method, or unusual activity;
-
inability to perform certain minimal security checks.
In case of refusal or cancellation due to lack of payment authorization, no definitive debit will be made. If a bank pre-authorization has occurred, it will be released in accordance with the issuing bank's deadlines.
4. Payments with Klarna (specific conditions)
When the customer chooses Klarna, the transaction is subject to:
-
Klarna's contractual terms;
-
its eligibility, verification, and approval criteria;
-
as well as its policy regarding payments, due dates, and potential incidents.
Valliora does not control the acceptance or refusal of payments by Klarna, nor its internal decisions.
Any questions regarding due dates, payments, financing, or incidents related to Klarna must be addressed directly with Klarna, without prejudice to the assistance Valliora can provide regarding order information.
5. Cash on Delivery (coming soon)
Valliora may reactivate cash on delivery in certain countries and under certain conditions, which will be clearly indicated during checkout and/or in the corresponding policy.
This payment method is currently temporarily deactivated due to the increase in:
-
unverified orders;
-
refusals at the time of delivery;
-
and incidents generating significant operational costs for logistics and carriers.
When cash on delivery becomes available again, Valliora may apply certain reasonable control measures, such as:
-
prior order verification;
-
amount limits;
-
or geographical restrictions,
to ensure reliable service and limit abuse.
6. Payment Incidents and Recommendations
If the customer is unable to complete their payment, it is recommended to:
-
check the entered information (card, expiration date, CVV/CVC code, billing address);
-
check the available balance and payment limits;
-
confirm that the bank authorizes online or international payments;
-
try another payment method offered during checkout.
If the problem persists, the customer should contact their bank or issuing institution to obtain the exact reason for the refusal.
